Mussendun Is A Must See

Built in 1785 as a summer library and modelled on the Temple of Vesta in Italy, it provides stunning views along the coast and across to Donegal. Mussendun bears the inscription: ‘Tis pleasant, safely to behold from shore. The rolling ship, and hear the tempest roar’.

The beach below was another location used extensively by the film crews from HBO’s Game Of Thrones, where the Seven Idols of Westeros burned and Melisandre, flames dancing into the night sky proclaimed: “For the night is dark and full of terrors.”
